JOHN McGREGOR,
Aged 70 years, of Ore Hill, died at the Nason hospital, Roaring Spring, at 6.49 p.m. Saturday, of pneumonia, following an attack of Spanish influenza. He was ill one week, and is the fifth Ore Hill resident to die as a result of the flu. He was born in Bedford county on Oct. 2, 1848, and was a son of William and Catharine McGregor. He resided in the Bloomfield district of Bedford county for many years and was employed in the Duncan mines at Ore Hill. He was a member of the Methodist church for many years. He is survived by one son, William McGregor, of Roaring Spring, one daughter, Miss Catharine McGregor of Ore Hill and one brother, James of Harrisburg. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon following services in charge of Rev. Alvin S. Williams and interment was made in Holsinger's cemetery.
