Jacobson
Mrs. Jacobson died at the home of her son, John Jacobson, in East Marion aged 91 years.
Deceased was born in Sweden in 1812, came to this country, settling in Moline, Illinois in 1866, six months afterward moving with her husband to the farm on which she died. Three children were born and only one survives - John Jacobson. The funeral was held last Thursday from the residence and the remains interred in the Olson cemetery.

Died at 90 Years of Age.
Died, at the home of her son, four and one-half miles southwest of Stanhope, Feb. 24, 1903, Mrs. Annie Jacobson, aged 90 years, six months and nine days.
Annie Carlson was born in Silverberg, Sweden, July 15, 1812. She was married to Jacob Jacobson in 1836. To them were born three children, only one of whom survives her. In company with her family she came to Moline, Illinois, in 1866, residing there about six months. She then came to Hamilton county, residing here until her death. She was the last of twelve brothers and sisters. Her's has been a long and useful life; she was quite strong, able to be about and help herself until about three weeks ago, when she took to her bed. She did not seem to suffer, only complaining of extreme weakness.
Tuesday afternoon God called her and she quietly and peacefully fell asleep.
The funeral was held from the home of her son Thursday forenoon, conducted by Rev. Aikland, of the Swedish Methodist church, and she was laid to rest in the South Marion cemetery.
