A funeral for Lorraine A. Rohwer of Bellingham will be held at 1 pm Wednesday at Westford Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Rohwer of 1530 James St did Saturday, Nov 6, 1993, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was 68.

Born March 13, 1925 to Clifford and Mable Watts in Nappance (sic), Ind, she graduated from Meridian High School in 1943. She worked for Gregg's Millinery Store and Bornstein Seafoods, Inc.

Mrs. Rohwer actively campaigned for handicapped rights in Olympia, volunteered at the Bellingham Senior Activity Center and helped organize the Whatcom County Handicapped Transportation system.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Jack Rohwer, and a brother James E. Watts Sr. in 1990.

Survivors include her parents of Bellingham; and nephews Jim Watts Jr of Everson and Joe Watts of Bellingham.

Memorials may be made to the Bellingham Senior Activity Center.
