Rose A. Roberts passed away Friday, July 21 at Chadron Community Hospital. Funeral services will be today, July 26, at 2p.m. at Chamberlain Chapel with Pastor Rick Wheatley officiating in Chadron. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel; PO Box 970; Chadron, NE 69337.

Rose was born at Glendo, Wyo., to John L. and Hattie R. Skoglund, and was one of eight children. In June,1933 she married Theodore I. ‘Pete' Roberts. To this union nine children were born. In 1935 they moved to Chadron where she resided until her death.

She is survived by: sons Curtis W. Roberts and wife Virginia of Ashton, Charles H. Roberts and wife Kay of Neligh, Brian Roberts and wife Shirley of Chadron; daughters Mary Bartlett and husband Loice of Chadron, Deloris Millar and husband Ward of Rapid City, S.D., Patricia Bruce of Newark, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pete and three sons.
