TWIN FALLS — Services for S. Uarda King Terry, 76, Twin Falls, who died Saturday in Huntington Beach, Calif., where she had gone to visit her family, were conducted Wednesday at the White Chapel, Twin Falls, by the Elder Ivan Allred. Interment was in Sunset Cemetery.
She was born March 22, 1900, in Riverton, Utah, and married Roy H. King, Aug. 20, 1925, in Rupert. The marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, April 12, 1968. He died April 11, 1969, in Twin Falls.
She married Henry S. Terry in 1971 in Huntington. Beach. They lived in Twin Falls the past two years. She was a member of the LDS Church and held various positions.
She wrote for The Statesman and was a correspondent for the Deseret News. She was a member of the Scribbler's Writing Club; Daughters of the Utah Pioneers; wrote the Idaho Centennial Pageant: A Place in the Sun," that was presented at Lincoln Field, attended Albion State Normal School and taught at Bernice.
Surviving are her husband, Twin Falls; two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy (Kathleen) Terry, Huntington Beach, and Mrs. John (Patricia) DeMartini, Corte Madre, Calif.; three sons, Roy King Jr., Vancouver, Wash., Raymond King, Pocatello, and Richard King, Twin Falls; 20 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
