A native of Lockport, NY; daughter of the late Nathaniel Tompkins Paine (1838-1894) and Martha Mariah Milby Paine (1838-1910); wife of the late Frederick Vernon Dale (1867–1955), married in 1889.
Survivors include her daughter, Florence Letitia Dale Walker (1891–1974), sons, Charles Milby Dale (1893–1978) and Lloyd B. Dale; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Capers Satterlee.
