DUBLIN— Freeda Gay Alderman Dobbins, 89 of Dublin, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at the Highland Ridge Rehab Center.
She was a member of the Fairlawn Church of God, and had been a member of the Church of God for over 63 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bowman Dobbins, and also by a son Ed Dobbins, great grandson, Greg Dobbins.
Survivors include two sons,Jim Dobbins of Shreveport, LA, and Bill Dobbins of Dublin; brother, Melvin Alderman of Narrows; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2003 at the Fairlawn Church of God with Rev. Jim Angle officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Fairlawn Church of God. Arrangements are being handled by the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford
