Zevenbergen Funeral service December 23
Funeral services for William P. Zevenbergen, 71, retired farmer of Sioux Center, were held at the First Reformed Church here at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 23.
He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home December 21.
The Rev. Gerald Mahler officiated. Burial was in Sioux Center Memory Gardens under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.
Mr. Zevenbergen was born February 4, 1901, at Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He came to the U. S. at the age of 19.
He was married to Fanny Hagens February 25, 1925 at Hospers.
Survivors include the widow; four sons, Marion, Arthur and Allen of Sioux Center and John of Hull; five brothers, Peter in The Netherlands, James of Alton Arie of Sibley, John and Cornie of Baldwin, Wisc.; a sister, Mrs. Herman Vander Vegte of Hull; nine grandchildren.
