Johanna Vander Vegte, 86, of Hull died Saturday, January 4, at Sioux Center Community Hospital.

Services will be Wednesday at First Christian Reformed Church in Hull. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Vander Vegte was born September 13, 1910 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, the daughter of John & Suzanna (Voogt) Zevenbergen. She came to the United States in 1920. She married Herman Vander Vegte on February 22, 1933, in Archer. The couple lived in Hull. Her husband died on January 1, 1988, in Sioux Falls.

She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Sue; Grace; Edith; Lynn; Vicki; a son, Harold; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and three brothers, Arie, John and Cornie.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol; a grandson; three brothers; and a sister.
