Rites for Austin Infant.
Brief services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Yocom chapel for Rodney Duane Austin, infant son of George and Pauline Platner Austin, who died soon after birth Tuesday evening. The Rev. Clyde Scott officiated. Burial was in Cedar Memorial cemetery. The infant is survived, in addition to his parents, by a sister, Frances Elaine Austin; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Platner, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Louise Austin, all of Marion.
