Arminta C Anthony, 91, of Anderson, passed away September 19, 2015 at her residence in Anderson. She was born on November 3, 1923 in Anderson, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Arminta graduated from Knightstown Soldiers and Sailors Home. She is a retired Aide from Above and Beyond Health Care. She was a lifetime member of the Main Street Chruch of God, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
She was preceded in death by father, Harry Pierce; mother, Goldie (Wicker) Pierce; Husband who passed away in 1988 Alden Anthony, Jr.; Daughter, Rita Goodman; 2 brothers, Clifford Pierce and Dallas Pierce; sister, Delores Paschal.
Services will be Friday, September 25, 2015, 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Don Billey officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
