Courtney Griffith Cook, 80, of Rt. 2, Box 1-A, Dublin, died Friday morning in the Pulaski Community Hospital,
She,was born in Tazewell, Va. on Feb. 2, 1911,
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Cook.
Surviving are three, daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Carrie) Tabor, Mrs, O'Neal (Madeline) White, both of Pulaski, Mrs. Leonard (Gcraldine) Whitaker, Dublin; two sons, James Cook, Bobby Lee Cook,, both of Pulaski: nine grandchildren; 16 greats grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Peak Creek Mission of Prayer on Case Knife Road, Pulaski, with Rev. Dale Akers and Rev. Randall Lawrence officiating. Burial, will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens. Dublin. Visiting was held Saturday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family received, friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
