James Thomas Hogue "Jim", of Cleora, Oklahoma, was born March 10, 1940, to Charles Craig Hogue and Beulah May (Doan) Hogue, the youngest of their five sons, and passed away September 22, 2015, in Vinita, Oklahoma.

Jim and his family lived in Hogue “Holler”, near Danville, Kentucky, and he graduated from Parksville High School in 1958. After graduation, Jim joined the U. S. Air Force, taking his basic training at Camp Dick Robinson, Kentucky, and served in Korea. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Airman 2nd Cls in 1961. Soon after his military service, Jim became the father of a daughter, who was the pride of his life.

Jim became an iron worker and was awarded his journeyman certification in 1967. He was proud and honored to be a member of Iron Workers Local Union #584, Tulsa, Oklahoma, of which he was a member for 45+ years. He worked out of that Hall and a few others all over the United States on many large and complex projects. He was looked up to by many of his fellow iron workers and had many friends there.

Jim and Sandy were married in Tulsa in 1985 and lived at Keystone Lake for many happy years. Upon his retirement, they moved to Grand Lake and lived in the Gran Tara addition near Cleora, Oklahoma. He took up the game of golf and spent many happy hours golfing at Grand Cherokee Golf Course with his three best friends, Mike Otzelberger, Dick Bassett and Bill Hodges. He was also an avid boat owner and loved living at the lake. He was a member of the Grace Point United Methodist Church, Cleora, Oklahoma.

Jim was predeceased by his parents; brothers Charles, Claude, Lloyd and Herman; and sister Norma Jean.
