Charles J. Holmberg Buried Wednesday With Masonic Rite
Masonic funeral services for Charles J. Holmberg, 77, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel at 120 W. Park ave. Burial was at Lakeside cemetery.
Mr. Holmberg died Sunday at 6 p.m. at Condell Memorial hospital where he had been a patient for the last seven weeks.
A member of Libertyville Lodge 492 AF & AM, Mr. Holmberg was superintendent of Westwood Farm, 2 miles south of Libertyville for 14 years. He recently had lived in Richmond, Ill., where he operated the Orange Lantern Café.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ina Spaner, Marion, Ind., and two grandchildren.
His wife, Agnes, preceded him in death in 1927.
