LAST RITES HELD FOR THEDOR SCHERER
Thedor Scherer, 1401 Ellison Ave., Omaha,, died in an Omaha Hospital on Saturday, January 18, 1975, at the age of 74 years.

He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Scherer in August 1900, at their farm home south of Butte where he grew to manhood.

He married Loretta Sauber of Butte, and to this union one son and two daughters were born.

The family lived in Butte where Thedore was employed in various jobs, one of which was working for the town as Police Officer.

In 1941, they moved to Omaha where Thedor worked for the Railroad until he retired and lived until the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta H.; daughter, Mrs. Halsey (Betty), Omaha; son, William J., Council Bluffs, Iowa; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and daughter, Mary Ann.

Services were held at HoffmanMortuary in Omaha on Tuesday, January 21st at 10:45 A.M. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery also in Omaha.

Mr. Scherer was an uncle of Edwin Horst of the Butte area.
