Mrs. Maxine Watkins Green, age 87 of Kettering, Ohio died Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Hospice Of Dayton. She was born on August 16, 1928, in Harlan County, Kentucky to Arthur L Watkins and Mabel Shelby Watkins, who preceded her in death.

She married Conda A. Green on August 14. 1954, and he preceded her in death on October 2, 1997. She was also preceded in death by Sisters, Billie June Watkins and Charlene Watkins Williams and one Son, James A. Green.

An accomplished seamstress, Maxine was also an award winning quilter. She was very well traveled and enjoyed painting with oils and all forms of needlework.

She is survived by her children Jeanni (Gary) Jackson of Kettering, Ohio, Larry (Karen) Green of Omaha, Nebraska and Micki (Greg) Kelly of Gastonia, North Carolina and 3 grandchildren (Kristin Green Bratsch, Michael P Kelly, and William C Kelly) and one great-granddaughter. Also survived by two brothers, Vernon "Mickey" (Louise) Watkins of LaFollette, TN and Doyle Watkins of Jacksboro, TN and one sister, A. Jean Meister of Peoria, IL.

Graveside services and interment Thursday, September 24, 2015, 2 P.M. at Bakers Forge Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Maxine Watkins Green.
