PRESQUE ISLE: Don C. James 84 passed away peacefully Sept. 18, 2015 at a Presque Isle health care facility. He was born October 22, 1930, the son of Harvey and Alice (Hayden) James.

He served in the U.S. Army in Germany 1953-1955. Don farmed as James Bros. for many years with his father and brother.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Lois (Kidney) James, his son Stephen Paul James, both of Presque Isle, a daughter Ann Marie Joles and her husband Christopher of Bangor, and a granddaughter Alexzea Marie James Joles of Bangor.

He was predeceased by his daughter Linda James in 1973, a brother Harold James, an infant sister Barbara James, and a sister in law Ruth James.

The family wishes to thank all the staff at Presque Isle Rehab. and Nursing for all the support and kindness.

A graveside service was held Monday at Fairmount Cemetery with Rev. Bernard Brown officiating. (Duncan-Graves Funeral Home)
