Charles Walton Bibb, 79, of Brook Meade Retirement Center, Shawsville, died Saturday, June 7, 1997 in a Salem hospital. He was a retired employee of Radford University and a veteran of World War II. Surviving include a brother, Ray Bibb, Radford; a special niece, Martha Southern, Radford; as well as other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 1997 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
