Son of Hubert C. and Lorene Hughes Holt.
Married Roseann Overman December 14, 1964 at Crawfordsville. She survives.
Also surviving are children Harold "Les" (Missy) Holt and Roxann (Mike) Kerns; brother Jerry (Jackie) Holt; sisters Shirley (John) King and Wanda (Paul) Harrison; 6 grandsons and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers Ernest, Larry R., Raymond E. and Wint Holt and sister Geraldine Holt.
He attended Tangier High School.
Formerly worked at Hoosier Crown in Crawfordsville, later owned a mower repair shop and had also farmed.
He was called into the ministry in 1990 and had evangelized several years before beginning his ministry at the Victory Fellowship Church in Hillsboro for 21 years and for the past 16 years with the Bethel Community Church east of Attica.
He was an avid "coon" hunter and had many other passions, but his real passion was serving his Lord and Savior.
Service 2pm Thursday, September 24 at Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene with Rev Greg McDonald officiating. Visitation 11am until time of service.
Memorial donations to Victory Fellowship Church in Hillsboro or Bethel Community Church of Attica.
