ERNEST GOLDEN RAY JR. Funeral service for Ernest Golden Ray, Jr., age 85, will be Monday, September 21, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Frederick Dean Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Michael Adkins. Mr. Ray passed away at The Bethany House early Saturday, September 19. He was the son of Ernest and Willie Bell Ray, and the brother of Edna Ray Golden, all of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Jerry Ray of Dublin, Ga, Vicki Ray Ware (Joe) of Tuscaloosa, and Timothy Ray of LaGrange, Ga. Mr. Ray also leaves 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Ray served his country in the Korean War. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial immediately following at Shady Grove Community Cemetery.
