Jean B. Mielcarek Stump Watkins, 81, (nee Hupfer) passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the home of her daughter in North Ridgeville, peacefully while in the company of her loving family.

Mrs. Watkins was born in Lorain on February 23, 1934, the daughter of the late William N. and Margaret L (Ellis) Hupfer.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and former member of Lorain Lighthouse United Methodist Church. She enjoyed watching the races at the Lorain Speedway and her dogs. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Watkins is survived by her husband William M. Watkins, daughters Pamela J. Cothran of Lorain, Jean B. (Rick) Barger of North Ridgeville, Mary Lou Clark, of Clarksville, TN, Margaret P Butcher of Columbus, Michelle A. (Michael) Varady of Lorain, sons Steven Mielcarek, Michael E. (Debra) Mielcarek, all of Lorain, step daughter, Sheryl Maruna-Kempe, of Sheffield Lake, step sons Jeff Maruna of Louisville, KY, Eric Mielcarek of Sheffield Lake and Edward Mielcarek of Lakewood, grandchildren Lisa Tremeine, Michael Mielcarek, Richard Barger Jr, Kathy Siefken, Heather Clark, Sherri Varady, Rose Varady, Thomas Varady, Joey Varady, Ryan Butcher and Riley Butcher, great grandchildren, Shelby Clark, Calyspo Siefken, Caden McGininis, Khrysta McGinnis, Sierra Mielcarek, Ian Mielcarek, Madison Tremeine, Alana Mielcarek, Ellie Barger, Aiden Williams, brothers Donald (Beverly) Hupfer of Huron.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Edward Mielcarek in 1991, her second husband Roy Stump in 2005, grandson David Mielcarek in 1976, brother and sister in law William N & Marilyn Hupfer and nephew David Hupfer.

Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Amherst Township.
