Born October 27, 1933 in Pekin, she was the daughter of the late James Bodine and Tina (McCoskey) Lee. She was a former employee of the old Bata Shoe Company in Salem and worked for many years at the Meadow View Health Care Center. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was the church pianist for many years. She had been a life resident of Washington County and was a graduate of the old Pekin High School.
She married Nov. 13, 1954 to Donald L. Sullivan, who died June 10, 2010.
Survivors include three sons, Donald L. Sullivan Jr., Salem, Lonnie Sullivan, Jeffersonville and Ronald Sullivan, North Vernon; two daughters, Brenda Howard, Milton, Florida and Belinda Jacobi, Sellersburg; one sister, Jean Nicholson, Salem; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Albertson officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday and after 9 am Friday. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.
