Donald L. Sullivan of Salem, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 8:48 pm in the Clark County Memorial Hospital of Jeffersonville, Indiana at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 22 days. Born: November 19, 1924 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of the late Homer and Flora (Voyles) Sullivan. He married Nov. 13, 1954 to Elsie M. (Lee) Sullivan, who survives. He was a retired employee of the old National Homes in New Albany, a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Pekin, served in WW II as a Private 1st Class in the U.S. Army and had been a life resident of Washington County. Survivors include: 3 Sons: Donald L. Sullivan Jr. of Salem; Lonnie Sullivan of Jeffersonville and Ronald Sullivan of North Vernon; 2 Daughters: Brenda Howard of Milton, Florida and Belinda Jacobi of Sellersburg; 2 Brothers: Bob and Jack Sullivan of Pekin; 5 Sisters: Jean Holsapple of Salem; Bonnie Roberts of Pekin; Jo Anna Ooley of Sellersburg; Delores Neeley of Martinsburg and Susan Saylor of Salem; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: 3 sisters (Infant Willma Sullivan, Mayetta Kersey & Mary Emerson) and 1 brother (Tony Sullivan).

Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
