Jack Matthews "King of the Road" passed away on Sept. 14, in Vacaville, Calif.

Jack was born in Findlay, OH, June 20, 1936. He lived in Vacaville since 1976, and for the past 15 years in Leisure Town. Jack was a 23 year career Veteran in the U.S.A.F., serving as a jet engine mechanic in Korea Vietnam US and UK.

He married his wife, Pat, in 1968 and she survives him along with his daughters, Christyn, Sandra, Adele and Marina.

Jack enjoyed singing and belonged to the Leisure Town Entertainers for many years.

Services with military honors will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m., at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield. A reception immediately following service will be held at Leisure Town, Town Hall, 100 Sequoia Drive, Vacaville.

Interment will be held the following Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m., at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to Families for Early Autism Treatment (FEAT) P.O. Box 255722 Sacramento, Calif 9586-5722.
