ASHEBORO - Janet Marie Cross Burkholder, 49, of 225 Liberty St. died Wednesday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Fayetteville Street Baptist Church, of which she was a member.
A native of Davidson County, she was a homemaker.
Surviving are husband, Nathan A. Burkholder Jr.; daughters, Mrs. Sheila Lucas, Mrs. Jennifer Jenkins, Mrs. Doreen Shanas, all of Asheboro; sons, Nathan Burkholder III, Jeffrey Burkholder, Hugh Allan Burkholder, all of Asheboro; sisters, Mrs. Blanche Painter of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Mrs. Mary Harvey, Miss Madaline Cross, Mrs. Jeannie Byerly, Mrs. Etta Bell Burkhart, Evelyn Mayes, Mrs. Louise Kimbrell, all of Lexington, Mrs. Betty Lou Earwood of Murphy, Mrs. Olive Boyd of Grays Lake, Ill., Mrs. Edna Palmer of Greensboro; brothers, Jake Cross of Flushing, N.Y., Joseph Cross of Wilmington, Calif.; seven grandchildren.
The family will be at Ridge Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence
