Although there have been 2 memorials for Isaac Stanley -one in this cemetery and one in the main Buck Creek, Isaac is buried here in East Side Buck Creek. Horry County has documented East Side Buck Creek and the burial stone is here. Also, the church office of the main Buck Creek Church which maintains records of the main Buck Creek Cemetery has confirmed that this smaller cemetery just past the creek, which is known on this site as East Side Buck Creek, is a separate cemetery, not maintained by the church congregation of the main Buck Creek Church. In spite of this information, the memorial remains in the main Buck Creek Cemetery for Isaac Stanley.... Update 2/25/2020-no memorial is found on findagrave in the main Buck Creek Cemetery... perhaps there was a merge requested by someone, or perhaps someone else has determined the correct burial location, as I did years ago.
