Born at LaMoure ND, July 14, 1893, Winifred Lois was a daughter of John and Lena Siegrist. Her father was a carpenter and farmer who moved from eastern Dakota, to Richardton, where Mrs Ingram attended elementary school, and then, in April, 1913, to a homestead near Sheep Mountain.
Ten years after the family's arrival in Praire County, on July 31, 1923, Winifed Siegrist and a neighboring homestead, Glenn H Ingram, were married at Miles City, The farmed the Ingram homestead for several years, then moved to Terry in 1927-- the year after a devastating hailstorm leveled "the best-looking wheat crop they'd ever seen."
Two daughters were born to them while they lived in the county, and their third child, a son, was born the year they moved to Terry. Mr Ingram died in 1960. Mrs Ingram was a member of the Terry Community church for 40 years.
Survivors are a daughter, Gladys Helen (Mrs Don) Young of Terry, a registered abstractor presently serving as Prairie County Clerk of Court; a daughter, Eva Marie (Mrs Bill) Chittick of Claremont CA; and a son, Glenn R, employed by the Federal Bureau of Standards and lives in Arlington VA. The seven grandchildren are Ione, Nina and Tommy Young; Mike and Lori Chittick; and Lois and Glenn Ingram III.
Also surviving Mrs Ingram are three sisters , all in their 80's--- Inez M Siegrist of Polson, who is 88; Erma Bennigton, of Missoula, wo is 86; and Florence Meehan of Portland OR, who is 82.
