Born in the Hebron Community of Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Carlton Coker and Olive Eugenia Gibbons Coker, and was a member of McKenzie Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cleveland “A.C.” Morris; a daughter, Brenda Fulton; a granddaughter, Melissa Ann McElveen; three brothers, and eight sisters.
