Early Life: Melinda was born March 23, 1962, in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Leonard G. and Veonne White Howlett. She grew up in Utah and had a special love for the Utah mountains, spending many years in them with family and friends. She had a love and talent for skiing.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: In 1984, Melinda moved to California and gained a love for the beaches there as well as the nearby mountains. It is there that she met the love of her life, Mark Mitchell, and spent the rest of her life raising her two beautiful daughters in the California sun. Melinda Howlett Mitchell passed away August 15, 2015, at her home in Murrieta, California. She was 53.
Survived By: Her two daughters: Malory (Eric) Hunter and Melissa Mitchell; her brothers: Lester (Mickey) Howlett and Cody (Kerri) Howlett; sister, Dallas (Knute) Rife; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.
Preceded In Death By: Her parents and sister, Saralee.
