WITMER, Wilma Alberta (nee Arndt) On a beautiful summer evening, Wilma passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at People Care AR Goudie Nursing Home, at the age of 80. Loving mother of Gary Witmer, James Witmer (Debbie) and Lori-Ann Allendorf (Al). Cherished grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of fifteen. Dear sister of Lorna Arndt and Jean Higgins (Roger). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings; Audrey McLaughlin (Russell) and Norm Arndt (Corrine). Wilma's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). The family would like to thank Lanark Retirement Home and People Care AR Goudie Nursing Home for their love and support.
