Arlyn “Deke” Boxell, 54, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. at his home.
Deke was born on September 19, 1960, in Huntington, IN, to Rex Dean and Janice I. (Boyer) Boxell. His parents preceded him in death. Deke married Linda Palmer on August 1, 1981. She survives and resides in Huntington, IN.
Deke worked construction and retired in 2010 as an Operating Engineer for (CPM) Concrete Pumping of Michiana. Deke was also a member of Local 103, Kokomo, IN.
Along with his wife he is survived by three sons, Jason Boxell, Jeremy W. Boxell and Justin Boxell, all of Huntington, IN. He is also survived by one brother, Arden (Latisha) Boxell, Crothersville, IN; four sisters, Carla (Rodney) Rice, Roanoke, IN, Jadean (Tom) Barnes, Huntington, IN, Rhonda (Melvin) Richardson, VA, and Elaine (Rick) Sands, Huntington, IN. Deke is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Boxell.
