Jamie Pedigo Crowder, 52, of Chickamauga, GA passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 in a local hospital.
She was a Support Manager with Walmart in Fort Oglethorpe, GA for 25 years and was a member of Revival Baptist Church. She was a member of the local Gospel singing group-Closer Home. She loved crafts and traveling. Her passion in life was spending time with her family and friends.
Jamie always wore a smile on her face, a prayer on her lips, a willingness to listen and a heart ready to lend a helping hand. She lived out the scripture in I John 3:18 that states, “My little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.”
She was preceded in death by her father, David Pedigo, grandparents, Rev. Lewis Pedigo, Louise Pedigo Sprayberry, Dwight Tinney and Ruby B. Adams.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Butch Crowder, children, Nikki (Harley Stoker) Crowder and Matt (Raechel) Crowder, mother, Gail Pedigo, sister, Cindy Pedigo (Michael) Sharrock and grandchildren, Elijah, Kaylie, Athena, Michael, Kristina and Natalie, several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Revival Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Turnipseed officiating. Burial will follow at the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Alan Crowder, Johnny Burrow, Brandon Hoskins, Tyler Young, Daniel Walker and Chris Hughes acting as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2015 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home and Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour in the church.
