Johanna was my great-grandmother. She was the daughter of Joachim Martin Christian and Sophia Elizabeth (Huell) Voss. Johanna came to America with her son William when she was in her early 30's. She married John Heiden on December 25, 1887 in Sharon Wisconsin. She had three children with him: Louis William, Minnie Caroline and Louise Minnie.
