Uncle John Auldridge , as he was familiarly known, died Monday night, Oct. 25th of Phthisis pulmanolis, aged 65 years and 6 months. Mr. Auldridge was born and raised in Gibson County, where he had always resided until the fall of 18?, when he located in Griffin and kept a confectionery and lunch house until his death. --- His remains were interred at the Sears cemetery, surrounded by many sorrowing relatives and friends, to await the final judgment. May his ashes rest in peace.
