Elijah Mullen was born in July 1845 Aden and Mellissa Smothers Mullen. He married Millie Ann Hennis May 2 1867 in Delaware Co. Ohio. From this union at least three children were born: Leonard, Lillie, and Cora. He died March 29th 1923.


Civil War Veteran: Union Company I, 32nd O.V.I.;
Enlisted as a Private 12/11/1863 age 18. Enlisted 12/11/1863.
Mustered out on 7/20/1865 Louisville, KY.
