A Native of St. Martin Parish and a resident of New Iberia. Mr. Horton died Monday, January 16, 2006 at 5:25PM in a local nursing home.
Mr. Horton is a retired Boat Captain from Ed Broussard Marine. He loved to fish and hunt, and enjoyed fixing and knitting his nets for fishing.
He is survived by two daughters Sharon H. Landry and her husband Frank Landry, Jr. of New Iberia, and June H. Melancon and her husband James Melancon of St. Martinville. Two Sons, Michael Horton of New Iberia, and Milton Horton, Jr. and his wife Lucille Horton of Jeanerette. One brother, Sidney Horton, Jr. and his wife Louise of Coteau Holmes. One sister, Lilly Mae Verret of Coteau Holmes
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eula Mae Bergeron Horton, his parents Sidney Horton, Jr., and Anita Toffier Horton, four brothers Rufus, Richard, Arthur, and Harold Horton, and one sister, Clara Lewis.
