Born August 8, 1989, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Timothy Lex Howell of Spartanburg and Sherry Lynn (Calhoun) Howell, of the home.
Jessica was a rising senior at Broome High School who loved life, her friends and family and lived life to the fullest. She loved drama and was involved with the Drama Club and participated in several school plays.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Jennifer Wells and her husband, Jonathan, of Spartanburg; three brothers, Justin Howell and his wife, Toni, of Gaffney, SC, Jeremy Howell of Ohio, and Jordan Howell of the home; paternal grandmother, Doris Howell of Pacolet; maternal grandmother, Sara Calhoun of Ohio; maternal great-grandmother, Ruby Calhoun of Florida; and six nieces.
Visitation was 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2006, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 7, 2006, at Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier and Pastor Raymond Timmerman.
