Vicki Mae Johnston, 60, of Lubbock, Texas passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at The First Assembly of God Church, 3801 98th St., Lubbock, Texas.

Vicki was born June 15, 1951, in Lubbock, Texas to Rayford F. Barnes and Evelyn D. Barnes. Vicki graduated from Monterey High School in 1969. She worked as a typesetter at Printech, Texas Tech University for 31 years.

Vicki was a very special person who touched many lives. We will miss her sweet and giving spirit.

Vicki is survived by a son, Taylor Johnston, 28 of Lubbock; her parents; brother, Steve F. Barnes; sister, Mollie J. Hatcher of Lubbock; and sister, Judy K. McNally of Edmond, Okla. Vicki had four nieces and three nephews who she loved and spoiled.

The family suggests memorials be sent to The Benevolence Fund c/o The First Assembly of God Church, 3801 98th St., Lubbock, TX 79423.
