He served in the Army Air Corps in Belgium and Germany in the Central European Campaign from 1942 until October 21, 1945.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Frieda, who died on October 28, 2009.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda J. Bragg: a brother, Kenneth Bragg; niece, Karan Haggard; sister, Evelyn Johnson; niece, Kathy. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Illogene Posey; niece, Janet Johnson; nephew, Michael and great niece, Addison.
He loved God, his country and family. He is truly one of the last great generation.
Graveside service will be held September 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
