Rhonda Dene Daniel, 56, of Baxter Springs, KS passed from this life on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Landmark Hospital, Joplin, MO.
Rhonda was born on August 21, 1959 in Baxter Springs, KS to the union of Max Leon and Delores June (Green) Von Wedell.
Rhonda worked as a bookkeeper for Blaylock Diesel in Baxter Springs for the last 26 years.
She was a member of the Springs River Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed going to bible study every Tuesday evening.
Rhonda enjoyed shopping and attending all of the grandchildren’s events.
Rhonda married Terry Daniel on August 26, 1978, but later separated.
To this union two children survive; one daughter, Jenny (Daniel) Brandon and husband Josh and their children, Jonnie, Josiah, and Jadynn; one son Matt Daniel and Partner Cindy and their children.
Additional survivors include her mother, June Von Wedell of Baxter Springs; three sisters, Brenda Mitchell and husband Charlie of Baxter Springs, KS, Melinda Snyder of Overland Park, KS, and Melissa Qualls and husband Bobby of Baxter Springs, KS.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her father, Max Leon Von Wedell.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September, 9 2015 at the Spring River Assembly of God Church. Pastors Harvey Wampler and Roger Scantlin will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Pleasant View (sic) [Pleasantview] Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m., at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel.
Pallbearers for the service are Jim Blaylock, Mickey Helms, James Blaylock, Ronnie Hogan, Frank Simons, and Jamie Blaylock.
Memorial donations can be made in memory of Rhonda to the Spring River Assembly of God Church.
