Impressive funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Saturday morning, for Mrs Florence Devine Kalfell, the loving wife of Murray Kalfell, who passed away at the Holy Rosary hospital at Miles City, last Wednesday morning, of child birth.
The deceased was born at Bjou Hills SD, and was 21 years of age the 27th day of February 1930. She attended the Terry School and graduated with the Terry High School class of 1928. On September 27, 1928, she was happily married to Murray Kalfell, at Miles City, and up to the time of her death lived in and near Terry.
She leaves to mourn, besides her loving husband and baby son, her parents, Mr and Mrs Frank DeVine, six sisters and three brothers.
A large crowd gathered at the church to pay their last respects to this loving young matron. The casket was laden with many beautiful flowers.
The pall bearers were: F W Delaney, E C Spurling, T M Muran, Jimmy Young, Rex Flint, H C Schmidt.
She was laid to rest in the Terry Cemetery.
Mrs D C Duncan of Costa Mose CA, Mrs Russell Gregg of Butte, and Mrs I Young of Bozeman were in Terry to attend the funeral of their sister.
