Janet was a graduate of Newport High School, class of 1955. She had worked for the State of PA as a secretary and at the Twin Kiss Restaurant.
She was a homemaker and liked to garden, go bowling and travel. She was an avid pinochle player, but her main love was spending time with her family. She was a member of the Shermans Dale United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Michael C. (and wife Robin) Bailey of Newport, Edward L. (and wife Angie) Bailey of Shermans Dale and Shane L. Bailey of Newport; her significant other, Earl E. Yohn of Shermans Dale; Earl's children, Jeffrey M. Yohn of New Kingstown and Denise C. (and husband Tony) Mull of Duncannon; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and two brothers, Donald L. and Leonard Trout.
