KNOX -- Mrs. Florence Elea, 81, of Bass Lake, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at Starke Memorial Hospital. She was born April 4, 1898, in Winamac. She married William A. Elea, who preceded her in death on July 18, 1963. Surviving are three sons, Bob of Gary, Ed of Portage and Sam of LaPorte; four daughters, Mrs. Millie Orosz of Merrillville, Mrs. Josephine Flory and Mrs. Betty Nies, both of Knox, and Mrs. Florence Kolarik of Oakgrove; 39 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Irene Irving of Winamac. Two sons, six brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Braman Memorial Chapel. Rev. Joe Rodgers, pastor of the Eagle Creek Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. today.
