Anthony was baptized 27 July 1591 at Uffculme, Devonshire, the son of John Pardee. He married Anstice Cox on 3 May 1614 at Pitminster, Somersetshire, England. He was a druller and schoolmaster in Pitminster, and subsequently Anglican priest at St. Mary Church. He was in charge of the parish during the sieges of the Royalist forces in 1643-45. He was the father of George Pardee, immigrant to the New Haven Colony (Connecticut) in 1644. He was buried 14 Jan. 1645/46.
