Our beloved son, brother, uncle and best friend has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Anthony passed away from complications of diabetes on August 22, 2015.
Anthony lived a full and enjoyable life. Tony loved to eat and smoke, which were his last wishes.
Tony was born in Texarkana, Texas and graduated from high school there.
Tony joined the United States Air Force in 1978 and served his country as a security specialist and was discharged in 1981.
Tony is survived by three brothers, Johnny Holmes and family, Tracey Holmes and family and Jeffery Holmes and family of Texas, two sisters, Pamela Holmes and family of New York and Patty Holmes and family of Texas. Tony is also survived by his Albuquerque family of thirty-six years, Deborah Stone and family, his longtime companion, special niece, "Mok" and many other nieces and nephews.
Tony will be laid to rest on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Santa Fé National Cemetery in Santa Fé, New Mexico.
Tony will join his mother, father and older brother, Rickey in Heaven.
