Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Hitt Lindler. Retired: J.P. Stevens Co., Inc. Member: First Baptist Church. Veteran: U.S. Army.

Survivors; A son, Mike Lindler, of Whitmire; and two grandchildren. Predeceased: Brothers, Bill, Mack, Colie and James Lindler; and sisters, Lois Lindler, Ruth Crayne, Ella Mars and Agnes Lindler.

Visitation: 7 to 9 tonight at Gray Funeral Home in Whitmire. Service: 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Whitmire. Burial: Whitmire Cemetery.
