Ella L. Mars, 85, formerly of 428 Grant St., widow of John H. Mars Sr., died Friday, Dec. 8.
Retired: J.P. Stevens Co., Whitmire plant. Member: Heritage Wesleyan Church where she served on the Ladies Missionary Society and was a Sunday School teacher.
Surviving are a son, John H. Mars of Newberry; a grandson, Troy Mars of Little Mountain; a great-grandson, Bennett Mars; a brother, Calvin Lindler of Whitmire; and a sister, Agnes Lindler of Newberry. She was predeceased by a grandson, Dennis Mars.
