Linda Sue Humphrey, 76, of Colson passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Linda was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Gibson Sexton. She was the widow of Chester Humphrey. Surviving is 5 children: Deloris Amburgey, Evelyn (Elwin) Collins, and David Logan all of Isom, Vonda (Mark) Lowe of Isom, and Melinda (Bubba) Niece of Colson; 5 brothers: Norman Sexton of Low Gap, Carl (Shorty) Sexton of Low Gap, Boliver Sexton of Isom, Oliver Sexton of Eolia, and Francis Sexton of Eolia; 3 sisters: Nora Logan of Colson, Connie Cook of Little Colley, and Reta Caudill of Michigan; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Barbara Ann Logan; 2 brothers: Larry Sexton and Jerry Sexton; 3 half brothers: Troll Sexton, George Sexton, and Buddy Sexton; 1 sister: Stella Burns; 3 half sisters: Ollie, Madgalene, and Lovetas; 1 grandson: Brian Collins; 1 great grandson: Seth Warlick. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, January 1, 2016 at the Lighthouse Church with Glen Gross and others officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Lighthouse Church. Burial will follow in the Thornton Cemetery at Thornton, Kentucky.
