Mrs. Doris Horton Nicholson, 83, loving wife, mother, and friend, died Thursday, August 27, 2015. Doris was born in Forsyth County, January 15, 1932 daughter of Avery M. and Dorothy Roberts Horton. While working at Western Electric, she met and married the love of her life, Raymond B. Nicholson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Stephen B. and Thomas W. Nicholson and her brother, Ted “Buddy” Madison Horton. Surviving is her special little girl, Bobbie Caselles and her husband Frank, and special grandchildren Jamie and Logan Caselles. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Crestview Memorial Park.
