She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ismael Garcia Sr. & brother, Juan Garcia.
She is survived by 2 sons, Ismael Garcia Jr. & Javier H. Garcia Sr. both of Weslaco, TX; 2 daughters, Diana G. Maldonado “Dee” & Graciela Garcia “Casey” both of Weslaco, TX; 3 brothers, Julian Garcia, Ricardo Garcia Jr. both of Weslaco, TX & Oscar Garcia of Sandlake, MI; 2 sisters, Rozario Wandel “Rosa” of Lakeview, MI & Maria Oralia Leal “Lala” of Weslaco, TX; also surviving are 10 grandchildren & 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2009 at La Santisima Trinidad in Weslaco, TX. Officiating will be Rev. Carlos L. Zamora. Pallbearers will be Irineo “Eddie” Maldonado, Israel Maldonado, Javier H. Garcia Jr., Ismael Garcia III, Bobby Joe “B.J.” Garcia, Tommy Lee “Blue” Garcia & Shannon Lee Garcia.
